Automation Overview

Understand what each Preddy automation feature does and which one to use for your trading workflow.

Preddy automation helps you keep up with markets when you are not watching the app. Some features help you follow activity, some protect positions, and some can run a strategy for you.

Automation types

FeatureWhat it helps you doBest for
CopytradingFollow another trader and automatically mirror their buys and sells using your own limits.Running a strategy based on a trader you trust.
Stop lossesSell a position automatically when the price reaches your selected level.Protecting an open position from dropping too far.

Start with the feature that matches your goal. You can use alerts and wallet tracking for visibility, then add stop losses or copytrading when you are ready to automate actions.

How to choose the right feature

Watch first

Use alerts and wallet tracking when you want to understand what is happening before you automate anything.

Protect positions

Use stop losses when you already hold a position and want Preddy to exit if price drops to your chosen level.

Copy a trader

Use copytrading when you want Preddy to follow another trader continuously, with your own budget, sizing, filters, and execution rules.

Tune the settings

Once you choose a feature, focus on the settings that control size, price, timing, filters, and what happens when an order cannot be filled.

Before you turn automation on

  • Know what the feature will do automatically.
  • Set limits before increasing trade size.
  • Keep alerts on so you can see what automation is doing.
  • Review activity after the first few trades.
  • Adjust filters and limits if the strategy copies too much, too little, or the wrong markets.
