Smart Money

Where proven traders stand on a market compared with the crowd, and how strong that call is.

Smart Money splits a market's top holders by how good they are and asks one question: is the skilled money on the same side as the crowd? It shows one market, so link it to a colour group. Wallet types work as in Holders Map.

What you see

Smart Money: the verdict card and the holder list
Here skill and crowd agree on No, and the Strong badge says the call is well backed.

The card at the top is the verdict, for example "Crowd on No, skill on Yes" or "Skill and crowd agree: Yes". The badge next to it says how much backs the call: Strong, Moderate or Weak. A warning appears when one wallet holds most of the skilled money, or when a small move could flip the call.

The two bars below compare Net exposure (everyone) with Skilled net exposure. Shares a wallet holds on both sides cancel out, so only money that actually bets on one side counts.

Under them, Gross holdings puts the two sides next to each other: value, average entry against today's price, how many holders are in profit, and what the skilled wallets hold and paid. Who holds it breaks each side's money down by wallet type.

Next to it, or below on a narrow widget, is the holder list with each wallet's type and record: its profit factor and how many positions it has closed.

Using it

Reading the verdict

When skill and crowd disagree, the skilled side is the one worth a second look. Check the badge first: a Weak call or a single concentrated wallet is a hint, not a firm call. "No signal" means there are too few proven traders here to call a side.

Digging into the holders

Switch between All, Yes and No, and use the type chips to keep only Skilled, Lucky and so on. Click a column header to sort, for example by Record.

Click a row to open its details: all-time PnL, profit factor against what it needs to count as Skilled (the shorter the record, the higher the bar), win rate, closed positions, best position share, wallet age and trading style. Open profile opens the trader window from Live Trades.

Open a Skilled row to check its record: here a profit factor of 4.49 against the 1.1 it needs.

With other widgets

  • Smart Money always follows its colour's market.
  • Marks are shared across Pro: a wallet you've marked carries its dot here, as in Holders and Holders Map.

Tips

  • Pair it with Holders Map in the same colour: the verdict here, the picture of who holds what there.
  • Compare Avg entry with Skilled entry. Skilled money that got in much cheaper than the crowd has more room to sit tight.
  • Skill against the crowd? Open the top Skilled wallets and check Closed positions and Best position share. A short record or one huge win means the call rests on a lucky run.

Extras

The footer shows how many top holders per side the analysis covers, the market's total number of holders and when it last updated. The verdict is only as good as that sample.
